An editorial work of typographical hierarchy and composition.
An RCA project presenting the exhibitions of British sculptor Antony Gormley. Since Gormley’s work explores the human body in relation to physical space, the book is sized at the same ratio as ‘Standing Ground’ - a physical representation of Gormley’s height and span from finger tip to finger tip. The cover is a photo of Gormley’s ‘Cave’, which allows a viewer to explore the space within - a similar experience to the reader looking within the exhibitions and process that supports Gormley’s work. The monograph is an editorial work of typographical hierarchy and composition that shows photographs of Gormley’s work, gallery presentations and images showing the processes involved.
